Mr. Alok Mohan is an Indian Police Service (IPS) Officer of 1987 Batch of the Karnataka Cadre. He is presently serving as the Additional Director General of Police in charge of Law and Order for the state of Karnataka and heads the law enforcement machinery for the Karnataka State Police. He has more than 30 years of Senior Management experience at the State, National and International Levels.

Mr. Alok Mohan presently as the Addl. DGP, Law & Order for the Karnataka State Police heads the law enforcement machinery for the State since 31st July, 2015. He is incharge of the day to day policing in the state and supervises working of 31 District Superintendents of Police, 7 Range IGPs and Police Commissioners of Mysore, Mangalore, Hubli-Dharwad and Belgaum cities. The total police force of Karnataka State Police is more than 100 thousand and serves a population of about 60 millions.
