Alok Mohan ADGP Officer

Alok Mohan is an (IPS Officer) Indian Police Service Officer of the 1987 Karnataka Batch. He is currently serving as the Additional Director General of Police in charge of Law and Order for the state of Karnataka and heads law enforcement machinery for the state of Karnataka Police. He almost has 30 years of experience in Senior Management at the state, National and International levels.

Awards & Medals

He was awarded with most prestigious awards and medal like he awarded as Presidents Police Medal for Meritorious Service which is presented on the eve of Independence day in 2003. Again he awarded Presidents Police Medal for distinguished service which is presented on the eve of 2012 Republic Day. He has also been awarded with the prestigious United Nation Medal while working as Commander for the International Police Task Force (IPTF) in the United Nations Peace Keeping Operations in the Bosnia - Herzegovina.

Education

He pursued 3 master degrees and he is an alumni of the Kennedy school of government, Harvard University, USA, Lee Kuan Yew (LKY) school of public

policy, Singapore University, Singapore, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee.
