Alok Mohan
Mr.
Alok Mohan is the Additional General Director of Police (A Three Star General)
in Karnataka State, India, with 25 years of public service. He has held many
prestigious assignments at the state, national and international levels and is
currently pursuing a Master of Public Management Program as a colleague of Lew
Kuan Yew.
Mr.
Alok Mohan joined the elite Indian police service in 1987 at the age of 22
after completing his higher education at the prestigious Indian Institute of
Technology, Roorkee and Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. His
challenging tasks in the state include working as District Superintendent of
Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police, State CID, Joint Police
Commissioner, City of Bangalore and Inspector General of the Western Range
Police, Mangalore.
Mr.
Mohan headed the surveillance and surveillance wings of the urban development
and energy departments in the state and was on the board of directors of the
five energy distribution companies. At the national level, Mr. Mohan served as
Assistant Inspector General of the Police at the Central Industrial Security
Force in New Delhi and headed the operations and the internal security wing for
the elite paramilitary force 90,000 more than the central government.
At
the international level, Mohan led the multinational police task force of UN
peacekeeping operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has been with British
police in the prestigious "Senior Command Course" and as a companion
to the prestigious "Advanced Management Program" of the Higher School
of Administrative Personnel of India, visited globally renowned institutions in
the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Switzerland .
Mr.
Alok Mohan is decorated with the prestigious President of the Meritorious
Services of India Police Medal, President of the India Police Medal for
Distinguished Services and UN Peace Medal.
